'RUSSIANS' AT ROTOPOL PRESS (PRINT 2)
Here is the second print for the 'Russians' show by Rotopol Press. This print is based on the Russian poster design for the film 'Symphony of a Big City' . It was designed by the Stenberg Brothers who used constructivism and elements of Dada to create bold, striking, graphic imagery for many films released in Russia in the early 20th century. So anyway, I drew a man with a half a camera for a face and a ladies head on an aeroplane. Hopefully the title in Russian says 'Camera eyes' and not 'hot cock'.
