Here is the second print for the 'Russians' show by
Rotopol Press. This print is based on the
Russian poster design for the film
'Symphony of a Big City' . It was designed by the
Stenberg Brothers who used constructivism and elements of
Dada to create bold, striking, graphic imagery for many films released in Russia in the early 20t
h century.
So anyway, I drew a man with a half a camera for a face and a ladies head on an aeroplane. Hopefully the title in Russian says 'Camera eyes' and not 'hot cock'.
